CFS™ Light Collections
Use lights to alter brightness in a space so that children can investigate resources visually as well as linguistically. Think about using electric, battery operated and rechargeable lights to soften the amount of light that is available; sometimes working in a slightly diffused light is more comfortable. Targeted use of light can add emphasis to a particular corner, item or area, effectively zoning a space and indicating where something is worth investigating. Changing the type of light used in the same space can transform it from one ‘feel’ to another completely different type of environment- so dramatic changes can be made swiftly and at little cost.
