You are invited to spend a day exchanging ideas, speaking, listening and reflecting on the potential of the Communication Friendly Spaces™ approach.

We are setting up our very own Communication Friendly Space™ in a bespoke marquee structure in the grounds of a beautiful stately home in central England.

This will host showcases of projects where the CFS™ approach has been applied to support a range of agendas from SEAD, ECAT, MABD to EYP accreditation.

In addition to the showcases, we will be hosting a number of facilitated discussions throughout the day on topics including; connecting design and pedagogy, a whole setting approach, and boys preferred contexts for learning.

There will be CFS™ outdoor trails for people to explore and the CFS™ Home Context Exhibition.

Travel to and from Exchange is provided by luxury coaches picking up from a number of venues for a one hour journey to the venue. During this time refreshments will be served, an introduction to CFS™ will be delivered, and onboard facilitators will assist you in planning your day.

Participants will discover new insights into the importance of the spaces in which they communicate across the age ranges.

This is a hands-on, interactive opportunity, and the aim of the day is to explore how CFS™ can support ongoing work.

Click here to read The Primary Review, published on 30/4/09. Communication Friendly Spaces™ is referenced in the report. During the consultation phase, Sir Jim Rose spent a day with Elizabeth Jarman visiting Portslade Infants School, Brighton and Hove to consider the role of the environment in supporting speaking and listening skills.
